Anthony Craig, Candidate for Bathurst

Anthony Craig is a retired registered nurse with decades of experience serving his community through healthcare, volunteering, and advocacy.

Anthony began his career as a NSW Ambulance paramedic before completing a Bachelor of Nursing and working as a prison nurse at Lithgow Correctional Centre. He later worked in aged care nursing and undertook further study, including a Master of Nursing in Mental Health.

Anthony and his wife, June, have lived in Lithgow for more than three decades, where they raised their three children.

A practising Catholic, Anthony continues to serve his local community in retirement. He volunteers at Cooinda Aged Care, spending time in fellowship with residents, and supports activities for local seniors. He has also volunteered in support of nurses in Timor-Leste and is a longstanding advocate for human rights and democracy in West Papua.

Anthony is standing for Family First because he has lost confidence in the major parties and believes they have become increasingly disconnected from the concerns of everyday Australians.

He stands for life, workers, families, Christian values in our society, and compassion for the vulnerable and those doing it tough.

Anthony is asking for your support to give Bathurst a strong, principled voice in the NSW Parliament.
