Tamhas Buchan, Candidate for South West Coast District

Tamhas Buchan is a husband and a father of three. He grew up in country Victoria and has lived in Melbourne, Sydney, China and Hong Kong.

Now he is a small business owner, helping other small businesses get more leads and sales online, starting with getting the simple things right. He believes families are the future, and families must be able to survive. They can't while banks make money from nothing and charge interest on it, governments put taxes on taxes, and power and fuel bills soar because we are forbidden from using our own natural resources, which are sold to foreign governments. He wants it easier for young people to start families without fear, and for all of us to defend life and live it to the fullest.

He believes in freedom: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Freedom starts with the right to life and stops where it harms others. A country that kills the unborn and its elderly because life is inconvenient is heading for extinction. Free speech. Free faith. No one should be forced to believe, or forced to fight. He wants a strong army, only for defense. No conscripting for foreign wars: it
breaks the trust of the people. No foreign donations to governments or parties, ever. No foreign ownership of housing, farmland or anything else. Housing is for Australians. Temporary residents should not own housing here. People still overseas definitely should not. Australia is our home, not a global casino for wealthy foreigners.

Immigrants are welcome when they come because they love Australia and its culture, and want to work hard and fit in. But everything in moderation! Everyone must be housed. And if too many come too fast they cannot mix and blend. They come here because they like Australia, so let's keep Australia as Australia.

Fewer immigrants, coming more slowly: skilled people and real Refugees only. Illegal immigrants and immigrant criminals are deported.

Protect children. Respect parents. Privacy for the people. Open books for government.
