Cassandra Bell, Candidate for Scullin

Cassandra is deeply committed to seeing families flourish, faith upheld, and common-sense values shape the future of Australia. She believes that strong families are the heart of a thriving society and that policies should protect the sanctity of life, parental rights, and religious freedom.

For over 13 years, Cassandra has faithfully served in her church’s Audio/Visual Department, now leading the team at Rhema Family Church Melbourne. Through this, she has learned the value of servant leadership, integrity, and humility—qualities that guide her in every area of life. She understands how vital community, faith, and strong moral foundations are in building a better future for the next generation.

As an alum of the Lachlan Macquarie Institute, Cassandra studied theology, history, Christian social ethics, law, and bioethics, deepening her understanding of how faith and governance intersect. Through the institute, she had the opportunity to intern in the NSW Legislative Council, gaining firsthand insight into how government conducts its business. During this time, she witnesssed Christians in Parliament serving with respect for everyone, from clerks and Hansard editors to all parliamentary staff. This experience reinforced her belief that leadership is about honouring people, upholding truth, and serving with humility.

Beyond politics, Cassandra’s years in customer service have shaped her ability to listen attentively, resolve problems with wisdom, and communicate with clarity and grace. She understands that true leadership means putting people first, seeking solutions, and standing firm on what’s right—even when it’s difficult. Through skills based training in media and negotiation, she has developed the confidence to articulate truth with clarity, ensuring that faith and family values are not lost in public discourse.

Cassandra believes Australia needs leaders of conviction—those who will stand strong, speak with courage, and serve with compassion. She brings her experience, faith, and unwavering commitment to every conversation, decision, and opportunity to create real change.
