Lee Ann Elms, Candidate for Lowan

 

I am an experienced educator, community leader and passionate advocate for children, young people and families. I have worked in education for many years and am passionate about helping young people discover their strengths, build confidence and understand their value and potential.

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and shapes the way I approach my life, my relationships and the way I serve others. I am actively involved in my local church and co-lead a youth group in my community, where I have the privilege of supporting and encouraging young people as they navigate life, faith, relationships and their future.

I am passionate about building stronger communities where young people feel safe, valued, heard and supported. As President of Hamilton Youth Victoria Inc., I am working towards developing Stable Ground Hamilton Youth Resource Centre, with the vision of creating a place where young people and families can access support, encouragement, connection and positive opportunities.

At the heart of everything I do is a desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people. I believe every young person has value, purpose and potential, and I want to help create a community where they know they belong, are supported and have the opportunity to thrive.
