Craig Manners, Candidate for Monbulk

Craig is a fifth-generation Australian, a devoted husband, father of five and grandfather of two, living in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria.

With more than 40 years’ experience across financial markets, the mining and exploration sector, charity management, and church and community leadership, he built a diverse career. He previously served as a Senior Client Advisor at HSBC and other financial firms, managed small businesses supplying the mining and drilling industries, and worked in areas including stockbroking, investment advice, capital raising, venture capital and company directorships.

He currently serves as CEO of Orbus Ministries Australia Inc., a charity that partners with local communities in Malawi, Central Africa, to support underprivileged children through education and skills development. His 17 years of hands-on involvement in overseas mission work in the areas of education, relief and development reflect a deep commitment to practical, faith-driven service.

Educated in theology and financial markets, Craig values freedom of faith and speech, strong families, the protection of children from harmful ideologies, integrity in leadership, and responsible stewardship. He is dedicated to fostering a positive vision for a free and flourishing Australia, with smaller government, less regulatory interference, safer communities and genuine economic opportunity for all.

If elected to Parliament, Craig’s priorities would additionally include:
•    Lowering the cost of living and dramatically reducing taxes.
•    Encouraging a Royal Commission into Union and Labor corruption.
•    Encouraging responsible immigration.
•    Protecting the environment.
•    Unleashing our natural resources.
•    Delivering better, corruption-free infrastructure.
•    Upholding the rule of law, clamping down on crime.
•    Prosecuting graffiti vandals.
•    Removing radical social indoctrination from schools and restoring a focus on core education.
•    Eliminating waste, fraud and abuse.
•    Deregulating the housing and land sectors.
•    Promoting a positive view of Australia’s history and heritage, and cultivating gratitude rather than grievance.
•    Treating all races equally.

Craig looks forward to serving the community and advancing the values of Family First as the candidate for Monbulk.
