His professional background includes serving as a Financial Investigator with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in Melbourne from 2013 to 2017.

Guy holds master's degrees in Economics and Ancient History, as well as a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University, completed in 2012. His extensive academic and professional background provides him with valuable insight into economic management, law and public policy.

As a Bible-believing Christian, Guy's faith is central to his life and his decision to stand for Family First. He is a member of Bellarine Presbyterian Church and the Bellarine Woodworkers Club, reflecting his involvement in local community life.
