Michael supports more frequent rail services from our Northern Victorian towns to Melbourne. He would love to see an overnight service for Mildura, with family sleeper compartments to make a trip to the zoo and other Melbourne attractions so much easier.

He has examined the energy issue and can see that we are risking reliability by not properly utilising our gas resources. Neither major party really cares about the inequities in energy pricing that are hitting the most vulnerable.

Children born without the benefit of a stable family deserve better that what Victoria currently does for them. Many spend their childhood in limbo, not knowing a permanent home or adults they can call Mum and Dad. Michael has experienced firsthand how kids can thrive when they have a permanent family and the damage done when they don't get that soon enough. 'Recent Victorian legislation heads in precisely the wrong direction. Unsurprisingly given our socialist leaning government, the news laws drastically undervalue a child's need for a secure forever family.

That Australia has been a safe and inclusive home for Jews was one of the values and realities that have made our country truly decent. Michael is saddened to see the situation we now face. He supports all that can be done at the state level. Activism needs to be gone from schools and hospitals, and our streets should be free of hateful slogans
