Ann Seeley, Candidate for Kew

Ann Seeley is a dedicated advocate for family values and community service, with a rich background in media, youth support, and philanthropy. As a proud mother of three amazing sons, Ann considers her family her greatest achievement and the cornerstone of her life's work.

Ann's political journey began as a founding delegate of Family First, working alongside Steve Fielding from the party's inception. This experience ignited her passion for promoting family-centric policies and traditional values in the Australian political landscape.

Her professional background includes 13 years at Channel 10 News, where she honed her skills in media and political programming.

Ann's commitment to youth development shone through during her five-year tenure as Live-in Manager and House Parent at the Kew Baptist Youth Hostel (now Student Res), where she served alongside her teacher husband while raising their young sons.

Ann's dedication to community service extends beyond politics. She was a committee member of the Leukaemia Foundation Victorian Branch founded by her eldest son, from its inception for six years and sponsored local cricket and soccer clubs, fostering community spirit through sports.

Driven by a desire to make a global impact, Ann and her late husband used the majority of her earnings as a Real Estate Agent to fund travels to seven third-world countries. There, they established school buildings for underprivileged communities, embodying their belief in education as a tool for empowerment.

Ann's life philosophy centers around four key pillars: Family, Fitness, Fun, and Fellowship. She brings this holistic approach to her political aspirations, aiming to create policies that strengthen families, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage joyful living, and foster strong community bonds.

As a Family First candidate, Ann Seeley stands ready to champion the values that have guided her life's work, bringing a wealth of real-world experience and a deep commitment to family and community to the political arena.
