Nofoao Thomas, Candidate for Croydon

Born in Samoa, Nofoao Thomas is a devoted Christian, a parent of three children and a strong believer in the importance of faith, family and the sanctity of human life.

Now widowed and retired, Nofoao has dedicated time to serving families and communities through involvement with Family Foundations International (FFI), including serving as its Victorian Coordinator. Nofoao has also been involved with the Australian Christian Lobby (ACL), reflecting a longstanding commitment to Christian values and family wellbeing.

Nofoao's decision to stand for Family First is motivated by a desire to see God's plan and purpose for families restored and fulfilled. With a deep trust in God, Nofoao draws inspiration from Psalm 127:1: "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it."

This biblical principle is central to Nofoao's belief that strong families, grounded in faith and Christian values, are essential to a healthy and thriving society.

A committed supporter of Family First's policies, Nofoao is particularly passionate about protecting the sanctity of human life from conception and upholding the importance of family in society.
