Dr Jereth Kok goes on trial for faith-based social media posts

Dr Jereth Kok, a Victorian GP, faces trial after a five-year suspension for expressing Christian views online.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) will hear his case before the end of this month.

Dr Kok's posts on biological differences, opposition to sex change surgeries, abortion, and lockdowns led to his suspension despite no complaints from his patients.

Dr Kok, supported by the Human Rights Law Alliance (HRLA), emphasizes the potential impact on Christian health practitioners.

HRLA has assembled a strong legal team for his defence, viewing this case as pivotal for protecting doctors from persecution because of their faith-based views.

Community support is crucial. Donations can be made via GiveSendGo to help cover Dr Kok’s legal expenses. Any leftover funds will support HRLA’s work.
