Lee Jones elected chair of Family First Victoria

Family First National Chairman Tom Kenyon has announced that Lee Jones has been elected chairman of the party’s Victorian Division.

Lee was Family First’s lead Upper House candidate at last year’s Victorian election and came close to being elected in the Southeast Metropolitan Division.

Tom Kenyon congratulated Lee on his new role.

“Lee was the public face of our campaign last year and did a terrific job.

“While we were all disappointed to narrowly miss out on Upper House seats, a legacy of the campaign is a strong party organisation in Victoria which Lee will now head.

“As other state Divisions join South Australian and Victoria, Lee and his counterparts will work closely under the national leadership of Lyle Shelton on the continued re-build of Family First across the nation," Tom Kenyon said.
