After achieving the highest state-wide vote of any minor party at the general election, Family First will contest the Narracan by-election in Victoria’s Gippsland on January 28.
Campaign director Lee Jones announced today that long-time Gippsland local Brendan Clarke (pictured) has been endorsed as the party’s candidate.
Mr Clarke worked for Victoria Police in its crime department and on general duties for 34 years and is currently completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction.
Mr Jones said Family First was encouraged by its strong result in November and members and supporters were determined to keep holding the major parties to account. “With Labor and Liberal pushing the same woke policies, the question for voters is who will protect your family from the threat of radical political correctness?”
