Not in our name, Kevin: Albo must recall Rudd from DC

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese must urgently recall Kevin Rudd over his continued misuse of taxpayer funds to promote harmful ideologies that undermine the family unit. Last year, Rudd's lavish $20,000 Pride Party in Washington raised eyebrows.

Yet, undeterred by the backlash, he has now escalated his extravagant spending, this time wasting $100,000 of taxpayer money on another Pride event.

This indulgence included drag performances by “Kitty Glitter” and “Crystal Edge,” balloon garlands, and electronic musicians.

Rudd's actions represent a blatant endorsement of gender fluidity and sexualised drag performances, concepts that are deeply harmful to children, women and girls.

This is not what a family-friendly government should stand for. Drag queens and sexualised performances are antithetical to the values that strengthen families and protect children’s innocence.

Family First calls on Albanese to address this gross misuse of public funds and affirm his government’s commitment to protecting families from such damaging ideologies.

Taxpayers should not be forced to fund events that promote harmful, anti-family values.

Rudd's actions show a clear disregard for the moral and financial responsibility expected of our leaders. It’s time for accountability and push-back on harmful LGBTIQA+ ideology, and it starts with recalling Kevin Rudd.
