Who will take the pressure off South Australian families?

South Australian families are under pressure like never before.  They dream of a modest, decent life – a home they can afford, good schools for their kids, safe streets, and the chance to breathe easier.  But every time they look up, the goal posts move back.

Costs keep climbing, healthcare is buckling, schools push values parents don’t share, and crime feels closer to home.

And it’s not just about today – parents worry if their kids will ever own a home, while also carrying the growing responsibility of caring for ageing mums and dads.

The major parties created these broken systems and keep piling on the burdens.  For families, it’s never just one issue – it’s always one more thing to worry about.

One more bill.  One more broken promise.  One more way of being ignored.  The pressure is constant.

That’s why my team of Family First candidates are standing up for families at the March state election.

And it’s why I’m asking for your support at this election, because together, we can take the pressure off South Australian families.

Taking the pressure off the cost of living

The major parties have consistently failed South Australian families by continually putting upward pressure on the cost of living.

Australia’s immigration levels are too high and unsustainable.  It’s putting pressure on the cost of everything from housing to groceries, to healthcare.  Family First will fight to dramatically cut Australia’s net overseas migration.

And we’ll free up more land for housing taking the pressure off young families, as well as the ‘bank of mum and dad’.  Family First will fight to remove green and red tape that’s currently blocking new housing.

Finally, Family First will fight to slow the race to renewables.  The major parties’ climate ideology has done nothing to change climate and has only piled more pressure on families who are already struggling with the cost of living.

Taking the pressure off healthcare

You shouldn’t have to wait weeks to be able to see a GP or health professional.  Yet the major party’s healthcare policies have led to just that.  Weeks’ long waiting times to see a doctor and constant ambulance ramping at our hospitals.

Family First will take the pressure off our healthcare system by investing in frontline medical services.  We’ll increase GP availability and force the major parties to finally prioritise fixing the ramping crisis.

Taking the pressure off education

Our schools are in crisis.  They’re putting a wedge between you and your kids by teaching them dangerous gender ideologies.  Not only is this dangerous, but it’s just one more thing for parents to worry about.  You shouldn’t have to worry about what your kid is being taught in school.

Family First will take the pressure off education, and off parents by getting education back to basics.  We’ll support non-government schools and give parents more choice about where their children are educated and the values they’re taught in school.

Social Unrest

You ought to be able to raise your family in a community that’s safe, and united by a common set of Australian values.

Family First will take youth crime seriously because your family deserves to feel safe in your local neighbourhood.

We’ll support and promote Australian values – like the celebration of Australia Day.  And we’ll fight to ensure that what migrants Australia does take in adopt our values and way of life.

Finally, we will stand up for women and girls’ rights.  The danger posed to women by biological males in sport is the predictable result of the major parties’ woke social agenda.  For decades they have sought to de-gender our laws and have removed the legal definition of male and female from our state’s law.  Family First will introduce legislation to reinstate these legal definitions.

Putting the pressure back on the major parties

This mess was created by the major parties.  It was Labor, Liberals and Greens that created these crises.  When you vote [1] Family First, you’re sending a message to the major parties to take the pressure of families.

If enough South Australians vote [1] Family First, the major parties will be forced to listen to our voices and our families.

Together we can put the pressure on the major parties and take the pressure off South Australian families.
