Family First registered in the ACT

Family First has achieved official party status in the Australian Capital Territory.

The following statement was released today:

MEDIA RELEASE from the ACT Electoral Commissioner

Family First Party (ACT) officially registered for the 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly election

‘The Family First Party (ACT) has officially been entered on the register of political parties in the ACT and is now eligible to nominate candidates for the 2024 ACT Legislative Assembly election,’ the ACT Electoral Commissioner, Damian Cantwell AM CSC, said today.

The registration took effect from Tuesday 14 May 2024.

Family First has applications pending with the Electoral Commission of Queensland and with the Australian Electoral Commission. The party is registered in Victoria, South Australia and for local government elections in New South Wales. An application for registration for state elections in NSW will be lodged soon.

Family First plans to stand candidates at the ACT and Queensland elections in October and is gearing up for the federal election which is due by May next year.

Family First has a vision for family, faith, life and freedom to flourish. The party unashamedly fights for the ideal of heterosexual, monogamous marriage, human rights for the unborn and proper support for their mothers, freedom of speech and religion, protecting children from the harms of LGBTIQA+ gender fluid ideology, a return to affordable and reliable energy and housing affordability so the next generation can found and form families.

I'd like to thank Ray Hentzschel and his team in the ACT for their hard work in achieving the milestone of party registration.
