Peter Dutton’s backing of Anthony’s Albanese’s backflip to include a LGBTIQA+ gender and sexuality question in the census is further proof of the major parties’ capitulation to radical Green-left ideology.
Dutton, who once criticised the “woke agenda,” has now stated, “I'm fine with the question being there.”
Albanese’s earlier backflip, now supported by the Liberals and Nationals, means there will be questions in the census that seek to divide Australians by sexual practices and gender identity.
This isn't just a change of heart from Albanese and Dutton — it's a clear sign of on-going surrender to a dangerous ideology that puts girls, women and children at risk.
It is a disappointing decision in the wake of last week’s Tickle v Giggle case where a biological man, Roxanne Tickle, won his case against Sall Grover’s women’s only app Giggle for excluding him because he is not a woman.
But if so-called “trans women” are really women, as Justice Bromwich of the Federal Court asserted in his judgement, then Dutton and Albanese should not need separate gender identity question in the census.
It is nonsensical for the LGBTIQA+ political movement to demand such a question if they really believe people like Roxanne Tickle are women.
Surely checking the “woman” box would be sufficient.
But it is not. That’s because a political agenda is at play to make radical sexual and gender minorities more visible as part of its indoctrination project of the wider population, particularly children.
With both leaders backing radical Green-Teal ideology on gender fluidity and radical sexuality in the census, fixing the law to protect women and girls becomes even harder.
That of course is the game plan of the activists to which Dutton and Albanese have capitulated.
Family First stands as a party refusing to cave into this harmful agenda. We are a truly pro-family, pro-woman, and pro-child party - committed to protecting the rights and safety of all Australians.
As the upcoming Queensland, ACT, and federal elections approach, Family First will offer a clear and principled alternative to the confusion and division being sown by the major parties, the Greens, and the Teals.
Our position is unwavering: radical LGBTIQA+ gender fluid ideology has no place in shaping public policy or government statistics.
What people do in their bedrooms should stay there, not be thrust on to census form.
Family First will continue to advocate for policies that genuinely protect children and support families, standing firm against the tide of political correctness that threatens to undermine the safety and well-being of our society.
ACTION: Join the fight to stop indoctrinating children, join the Family First Party today.
