The Greens are committed to criminalising parents, clinicians and pastors and clergy.
The Family First Party said today:
“The South Australian Government’s so-called Conversion Practices Bill is an unnecessary piece of legislation: a solution in search of a problem. But at least it acknowledges the rights of parents to talk to their kids about sexual practices, and sex confusion, the need for clinicians to be able to treat vulnerable people with broad discretion, and for pastors and clergy to care for and pray for troubled people. The Greens’ amendments to this bill (which were properly rejected) aimed to strip these commonsense protections and aimed to create a society of spies and busybodies who will be able to make speculative complaints and so attack the sacred bonds between parents and kids.”
Christopher Brohier the Family First lead Senate Candidate for SA said “the Parliament and the Government have by rejecting the Greens’ amendments revealed them for what they were: a naked attempt to force increasingly discredited gender fluid ideology on parents and vulnerable kids by the threat of conversion practices prosecutions of civil claims. It is time SA rejected the Greens animosity to families, faith and confused kids.”
The Family First Party will always call out the Greens for their toxic policies.
