Family First Senators, if elected, will push to make the Classification Review Board family friendly after it upheld its decision to allow school children access to a book which depicts paedophilia and pornography.
The board’s decision to allow children access to the radical book Gender Queer by LGBTIQA+ activist Maia Kobabe is further evidence it is not acting in the interests of mainstream mums and dads.
No mum or dad wants their child’s school library lending their children a book which depicts a man in a sexual act with a child, masturbation or gender fluid concepts.
There is no place in civil society, let alone school libraries, for books which promote adult-child sexual relations or concepts.
Family First acknowledges the work of advocate Bernard Gaynor who has campaigned tirelessly to protect children from inappropriate material in public and school libraries.
