Seven seconds of hell

Seven seconds of hell

This week several prominent and respected pro-life leaders in the US shared this chilling seven second video of an unborn child being violently aborted.

Warning: distressing content.

The baby squirms as she or he tries to get away from the killing instrument before being ripped out of the womb.

That the emergence of such footage garners so little interest, and none from mainstream media, is testament to the banality of evil.

Our society is so in love with the sexual revolution that we look away as we dispose of the consequences of our hedonism.

I say this because more than 95 per cent of abortions are essentially for birth control purposes.

The images of the ovens of Auschwitz which emerged after the Nazi defeat repulsed and galvanised the world.

An ultrasound video of a helpless baby struggling to escape the abortionists’ implement protruding into a space where she or he should be safe should garner the same revulsion.

But it does not.

I apologise for putting this before you. But then again, I don’t.

We must never lose our shockability.

It should spur us on to make these practices unthinkable.
